This weekend saw the launch of ‘Fortunes Told’ - this year’s campaign to promote The Sunday Times’ annual Rich List.
The campaign was created by CHI&Partners and accompanied by a series of illustrations from Blink Art’s Sam Dunn. Sam’s hand crafted dark style was a perfect fit for the campaign, which follows a fortune telling theme.
Taking influence from 19th century tarot cards, Sam created a series of cards with a modern twist, telling the stories of how some of the UK’s highest earners made their fortunes. Using traditional Pen and Ink techniques Sam depicted some of todays most recognised celebrities on paper before taking her illustrations into the digital realm, adding colour and texture reflective of century old cards.
